The origin of the name 'Denya'
Denya is the name of a hardwood tree that is native to the rain forests that stretch throughout West Africa. It captured our attention and now serves as our name and inspiration due to its incredible properties of strength and durability. Unlike most other hardwoods, Denya wood has a special oil inside that makes it impervious to saltwater and other corrosives. That means it's not only one of the tallest and strongest trees in Ghana, but it is also among the most reliable and long-lasting.
Our parent company, the Pragnya Group (meaning 'skillful'), also shares the same three ending letters. Just a final touch that sealed the deal.
